bballThe 2015 SCYC March Madness bracket is under way! You know you’ll have a bracket this year, so why not support a local charity in the process? The signup is $20. SCYC “splits the pot,” and of the winners, 50% to the top winner, 30% to second place and 20% to third place.

Please make payment via our Crowdrise Secure Link , or you can hand your cash or check to any SCYC board member. Upon payment, we’ll send you the link to the SCYC bracket site, hosted at CBS Sports.

Brackets will be announced on Sunday, March 15, and the first round is March 17.

September 24:  Tickets are on-sale now– SCYC is proud to announce that The Johnny Artis Band will be headlining for our next fundraiser on October 25, 2014. Come out and enjoy a fun evening of live R&B/classic rock music, dancing, open bar and tasty eats at the Old Dominion Boat Club in Alexandria. Show starts at 8PM. You can purchase your tickets online and pay by credit card, or contact us by email to pay by cash or check. Make sure you get yours today, before the sell out!

March 13, 2014: Have fun, win money, and support a great cause!

 

The SCYC is gearing up for NCAA March Madness, which kicks off with Selection Sunday on March 16. We will pass around the SCYC bracket signup ($20) during the Thursday, March 13 happy hour at Southside 815 in Alexandria.

The buy-in is $20.00, using CBS Sports’ standard default scoring system. Here’s a link to their website:

Half of the pot goes to the SCYC. The other half goes to the winners. Of the half that is available to the winners; 50% to the top winner, 30% to second place and 20% to third place.

If you want a separate signup sheet for your co-workers, please let us know by contacting us.

Please remember, many offices frown on the use of work time or work resources for social activities, such as March Madness-related games, we suggest that you use a personal email address.
